My Kentucky Home

I arrived in Kentucky this week and have settled in nicely. Cappy says he approves, too. The area here is in the tri-state area and central to Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

Horseshoes, picnic tables and lots of green grass for Cappy!
If I miss the beach, I can just go to the bathouse. The facilities are spotless. I have been lucky with all of my campgrounds so far.

Hi! I am Christi, a full-time RV traveller since August 2021. I have always loved to travel, but COVID-19 put a stop to that. I was fast approaching 50, my condo was being placed up for sale and I was ready for a major change. Originally from a tiny town in rural Southwest Virginia, I am the mother to one son and a rescue Shih Tzu, Cappy. For the last 20 years, I worked in public library systems around the Charlotte & Myrtle Beach areas. I met some amazing people and made great friends along the way. Follow along on my adventures as I travel the US. I hope that our paths will cross one day!

  1. The camp, grounds, has a very pretty view. It looks clean and we’ll kept. You are living the life. Happy adventures.

    1. My first day of work is October 20th. I have no idea what I will be doing, but I will be sure to share it with everyone! I have to go in on Monday to do some paperwork and get my official work badge. I do know that I will be working Wednesday-Sunday and my shift starts at 6:30 pm.
