While traveling, I always make a point to visit libraries. C’oeur d’Alene has one of my new favorites. It is in a 110 year old tree stump!

If you love the look, smell, or taste of lavender, check out Sequim, Washington! Over the last fifty years, it has become known as the lavender capital of the United States. There are more than a dozen lavender farms in Sequim.
The Musk Ox Farm Palmer, AK
Outside of Anchorage is a unique non-profit featuring musk oxen. The farm features the largest captive herd of Musk oxen in the world. I didn’t know much about them going in but left with a new understanding.

Loving Denali National Park—I may decide to stay a while!
It took over a month and 5,000 miles to get from Taos, New Mexico to Denali National Park. It was worth every minute and every mile.
