Follow along on my journey as I travel the US
Today started off nice and in the mid 70s, then after lunch the rain started and the temperature fell to 56. We planned to do spend some time at Pipestem State Park. We have visited and had many family reunions there over the years. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get many pictures due to the fog. So, instead, enjoy some pictures of our fur babies!
Hi! I am Christi, a full-time RV traveller since August 2021. I have always loved to travel, but COVID-19 put a stop to that. I was fast approaching 50, my condo was being placed up for sale and I was ready for a major change. Originally from a tiny town in rural Southwest Virginia, I am the mother to one son and a rescue Shih Tzu, Cappy. Awesome picture of park! How far from Calabash? Cappy looks well acklimated. Its San Diego weather here as well. Enjoy your travels.

Pipestem is about 5 1/2 hours from Calabash. You can check put the website at https://wvstateparks.com/park/pipestem-resort-state-park/. They have a little of everything: a beautiful resort, horses, hiking, fishing, ziplining, paddle boats, swimming pool, golf, you name it!
