Settling into Home

After housesitting & visiting family, I am back “home” and settling into my camper. I have been able to hang some art and pictures and I love Command Strips!

I have the kitchen and living/dining room areas done.

Cappy is settling in, too!

I am getting faster at setting up camp and am learning so much as I go. If you have any tips, please send them my way!

Hi! I am Christi, a full-time RV traveller since August 2021. I have always loved to travel, but COVID-19 put a stop to that. I was fast approaching 50, my condo was being placed up for sale and I was ready for a major change. Originally from a tiny town in rural Southwest Virginia, I am the mother to one son and a rescue Shih Tzu, Cappy. For the last 20 years, I worked in public library systems around the Charlotte & Myrtle Beach areas. I met some amazing people and made great friends along the way. Follow along on my adventures as I travel the US. I hope that our paths will cross one day!

  1. Hi Christi, I just figured out how to reply! 😫Your travels sound wonderful! Carrollwoods looks like a great place to stay. Your camper looks so homey and Cappy looks right at home.
Your pictures are beautiful……..makes me want to travel. Enjoy! Looking forward to your next blog!!!

    1. So glad to hear from you! I hope you and Dave are doing well. I am enjoying this journey so much. I have been to some beautiful places and looking forward to what is ahead of me. I think that COVID made us all so used to staying at home. I didn’t realize how much I missed going places and doing things. If you get the chance, go and do! Love to you both.
