Wicked, Work & Fun

My friend Lee and I went to see Wicked and it was so good! It was at the Arnoff Center in downtown Cincinnati. We ate dinner before the show at an Irish Pub downtown and had a lovely evening. Cincinnati is a great city with so many things to see and do.

I also visited the Cincinnati Art Museum with two of my Camperforce friends, Elizabeth and James. The museum has a wide variety of art including some pieces by Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Claude Monet, and more. What astounded me is that the museum is completely free! Free parking and free admission for all visitors.

Two exhibits I especially enjoyed were:

Kara Walker: Cut to the Quick. This is a special limited time exhibit and is worth the $12 admission. If you aren’t familiar with Kara Walker, click here for a great biography.

Simply Brilliant: Artist-Jewelers of the 1960s and 1970s. This exhibit also had some fabulous fashion from the era.

Hi! I am Christi, a full-time RV traveller since August 2021. I have always loved to travel, but COVID-19 put a stop to that. I was fast approaching 50, my condo was being placed up for sale and I was ready for a major change. Originally from a tiny town in rural Southwest Virginia, I am the mother to one son and a rescue Shih Tzu, Cappy. For the last 20 years, I worked in public library systems around the Charlotte & Myrtle Beach areas. I met some amazing people and made great friends along the way. Follow along on my adventures as I travel the US. I hope that our paths will cross one day!
