I know the question you have….What is Woolaroc? It is a wildlife preserve and museum established in 1925 by oilman Frank Phillips, co-founder of Phillips Petroleum in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

When entering Woolaroc, you drive two miles through the 3700 acre preserve. You can see bison, elk, deer, Highland & Longhorn cattle, water buffalo, and so much more.

The images below are from areas with no fencing. You are not allowed to get out of your car but the wildlife walks right up to you. It is so amazing to see animals this close in their own environment.

The next group of images are from animals that are in fenced areas in the preserve.

The final group is from the Animal Farm at Woolaroc. You can walk around this area and get up close and personal with these animals. Be warned, I love goats!

Because Woolaroc has so much to see and do, I will have several posts about it. The next post will be about the museum and exhibits.

You definitely visit some super interesting stops. Awesome posts. Keep them coming
