The Beauty of Fall

Having lived at the beach for many years, I forgot how much I loved fall leaves. Fall and spring are my absolute favorite times of the year. British Columbia, Alaska & the Pacific Northwest have certainly put on a color show this season.

Growing up, leaves always meant lots of work. Raking, bagging, and mulching leaves meant spending hours in the yard. We had apple trees and a huge walnut tree in our yard when I lived in Rocky Gap, Virginia. Which meant even more work if you’re the one mowing grass!

Now, I can just look at the trees and appreciate the leaves for their beauty alone.

I’ve had a hard time staying on the road because I want to keep stopping for photos!

I hope you enjoy some of the vibrant colors from Canada, Alaska, Washington & Idaho.

Hi! I am Christi, a full-time RV traveller since August 2021. I have always loved to travel, but COVID-19 put a stop to that. I was fast approaching 50, my condo was being placed up for sale and I was ready for a major change. Originally from a tiny town in rural Southwest Virginia, I am the mother to one son and a rescue Shih Tzu, Cappy. For the last 20 years, I worked in public library systems around the Charlotte & Myrtle Beach areas. I met some amazing people and made great friends along the way. Follow along on my adventures as I travel the US. I hope that our paths will cross one day!
