Going Transatlantic
After visiting La Palma, it was time to start our Transatlantic journey to Florida. This was mom’s first time across the Atlantic & she handled it like a seasoned cruiser. We did have one rough day at sea, but we were both fine.

Cruising to Málaga, Spain
After spending a wonderful week in Italy, it was time for Mom & I to board our cruise ship. We took a taxi to the cruise port, Civitavecchia, which is an hour outside of Rome. Our taxi driver drove like we were being chased by the police & we arrived in no time!

Mom & I spent our last day in Rome on one of the Hop On & Off tour buses. I use them everywhere I can because they are so convenient. Rome’s tour was packed with stops at all the highlights.

A Day in Pompeii
The next day trip mom and I made was to Pompeii. We had a wonderful tour guide, Julia, who is an archeologist. Her commentary made the tour & it wouldn’t have been nearly as enjoyable without her.
